KinoTashla is a project I made as part of a group of 5 (dubbed the New York Executioners) in my second year of Game Design at Sheridan College. My responsibilities on this project were:

Gameplay Programming, Music, Sound Design and Game Design.

Overview

As a gameplay programmer, sound designer, game designer, and musician, I’ve showcased my multifaceted skills in KinoTashla. This 2D puzzle-action platformer follows an escaped test subject with telekinetic abilities, allowing them to interact with their environment in unique ways. The gameplay is rooted in Newton’s third law of physics, allowing a player to throw objects with their telekinetic abilities, and giving themselves an equal and opposite impulse. I implemented these complex mechanics, ensuring a high level of player control. As a musician, I composed a soundtrack that has the ability to adapt to the action on screen. KinoTashla is a demonstration of my ability to excel in multiple roles in the game development process.
